The day we met Jenny

The live interview process came to a crescendo tonight as the #aspiretomore group met with author and writer Jenny Molloy at West Offices!

The group were excited to meet Jenny and interview her about her life. Amy and Lauren posed the questions while Ellie took photos of tonights team effort.The interview was well composed as usual and professionally delivered. It developed into what became an inspirational conversation about Jenny’s life and journey, in care and after. There were some great moments of laughter…Liam recorded audio so we could transcribe the interview. There were some really heart moving answers as Jenny articulated how she went into care and how she came about writing her book Hackney Child after years of hiding her care background.Jenny had a warm and friendly personality and the team really warmed to her genuine nature…Amy and Lauren take it all in…“I stood out, everyone knew I was from the Home on the hill” she explained…With every emotional moment, there were smiles and laughter in the next – it made for a really engaging and real conversation.
