Aspire To More launched

After six months of hard work , commitment and passion the Aspire To More was officially launched at a celebration event held by York’s Children in Care Council ~ Show Me That I Matter.

Members of the Aspire To More project with Kev and Liam ( Inspired Youth)  delivered presentations to a captive audience, along with video messages from writers Jenny Molly and Paolo Hewitt and from Children’s Commissioner Anne Longfield were shared.

“The best bit of the launch for me was the amount of people that were inspired by every word that was spoken that night. As I was walking around the room just before the event fully started, every time I turned around there was someone new wanting to know more about the launch and who my favourite care leaver was.” – Lauren.

“The best part of the night for me was seeing how everyone reacted to how well we have done. It has been a really inspirational thing to do, it has made me look at life a different way, the amount we have achieved is phenomenal!

It has been so good working with Kev (quiche) and Liam (lulu) as they made this happen, so thank you both!!! – Ellie

Here they share some of their favourite shots from the evening … Thanks Scott

  1. I’m impressed, I must say. Really rarely do I encounter a blog that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you’ve got hit the nail for the head. Your notion is outstanding; the pain is something that insufficient everyone is speaking intelligently about. We’re happy that we came across this at my look for some thing concerning this.
