‘Stories have such power’

Last night saw young people from Show Me That I Matter shine at the official launch of Aspire to More. The evening began with a showcase of projects by young people in care in York  including Arts4Care and Music4care, creating an amazing atmosphere before young people took to the stage to present Aspire to More.

“Stories have such power and you are using them in an amazing way”

Here is some amazing feedback which we feel sums up the whole essence of the project.

Stories have such power and you are using them in an amazing way. They shift negative stereotypes and encourage people to believe that anything is possible. You have inspired me. Keep dreaming and believing in yourself

Shelly, Amy, Lauren, Ellie, Jade and Josh did an amazing job of presenting to the audience their views on the importance of role models and their experience of this project.

Coming soon… photos and more news from our fantastic evening.
